I am interested in 3D scene understanding, reconstruction, motion estimation, generative modeling and sensori-motor control in the context of autonomous systems. My goal is to make artificial intelligent systems such as self-driving cars or household robots more autonomous, efficient, robust and safe.
On this website I maintain a list of news, publications and people I work with as well as links to older projects. More information can be found here:
The Autonomous Vision Group has several openings for PhD visitors, PhD students and PostDocs who like to join us in 2020 to work on cutting edge curiosity-driven research at the intersection of computer vision, machine learning and robotics. Research topics include (but are not limited to) generative models, differentiable rendering, image synthesis, self-supervised learning, 3D/4D reconstruction, material estimation, sensori-motor control and self-driving. If you are interested to join us, please directly send your application materials via this link.
